Hotel San Lorenzo - Florence

Amazing place with great air conditioning, tv, free wi-fi, and 24-hour security. The staff provided helpful tips on where to get a good exchange rate. I'm coming back for Christmas!

A wide range of good food at breakfast time. Central location, at a moderate distance from a prominent art museum.

Luxurious hotel with really friendly and very polite staff, near bars and restaurants. Near a train station, particularly good location. Found in a central area.

Not so helpful staff!

The location near Mercado Centrale is perfect for food lovers. Climbing the 50 steps to the entrance was challenging.

The location of the hotel was central, not far from restaurants and bars, the leather market and Mercato Centrale, and the train station surrounded by restaurants. Lucky that it was not too far away from Il Cantone del Guelfo, offering food to go. Stylish and large rooms were neat with a perfectly clean private bathroom. Central heating, a work desk, and a TV set were all available...

Disappointing aspect was a bit small bathroom.

Rooms were basic, No toilets attached, misrepresented what they were going to provide.

Clean and large room with good location

Noise from the street, extremely noisy aircon, breakfast is almost absent. You could find better hotel for the same money.

We booked single room and it was large.

Great location just a short walk from the main attractions. Room was clean and had a cozy atmosphere, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with good water pressure and cleanliness, a big plus in my book. The shared bathroom setup could be a hassle, especially during busy hours. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. The selection was limited, mainly just a bowl of cereal and a croissant. The staff were helpful and accommodating.

Good location for sightseeing around Florence.

Facilities could use an upgrade. Bed comfort and noisy doors should be attended to. Shared toilet would not be our preference in the future.

Lovely staff and nice location, good value for money.

The hotel is run by a lovely family who go above and beyond for their guests, making you feel like part of their family.

Climbing the many stairs to the hotel can be a workout, especially when carrying heavy luggage.

The location was great close to everything. The bell boy on our arrival was great he carried our luggage up and changed our rooms & beds.

1-Upon arrival we were put in the loft room which had a double bed & 1 single.The room was claustrophobic and small and old when I specifically requested 3 seperate beds.we had to wait to get new room . 2-there is no lift & upon chk out early at 8am there was no one to carry our luggaes down the 53 steps and the night before I requested that someone be there and was told yes someone will be there to acrry luggage. 3-Also requested bfast early before chk out at 7.30 but again bfast not ready only got time to drink coffe & leave as I needed to carry luggage by myself as the girl gabriella could not carry as she said she has sore arms!!! 4-There is not enough light in the room. 5-The fridge plug does not work so we could not store milk or drinks etc. 6- I would recommend Florence but not the hotel.
